The Role As a Sogeti UK consultant, you will be part of the Testing & Quality Assurance specialists and represent Sogeti by providing expert solutions to our customers to help us maintain our position as a leader in the market. You will work on different client sites in a range of industries that include; well known global grands, government, finance, insurance, aerospace and media/digital. You will gain exposure to a variety of tools and technologies that will allow you to continuously develop as a subject matter expert in testing. As a Infrastructure Test Lead at Sogeti, you can:- · Work with the latest testing tools and upskill in different technologies through our work on various customer sites. · Work onsite, representing the global Sogeti brand with a range of customers to gain invaluable experience, quickly. Customers include well known global grands, government, finance, insurance, aerospace and media/digital. · Gain experience within a market leader in Next-Generation Software Testing Services. · Have a genuine and transparent career path mapped out; We prefer to promote from within rather than recruit externally so you’ll have every opportunity to develop. · We encourage continuous learning and development by providing you the tools and support to drive your own career in the direction you want As a Infrastructure Test Lead, we’re looking for:- · Previous test analyst experience, within Infrastructure projects is essential. · Experience working in a QA/Test capacity with the application and platform estates - Microsoft on VMWare, with a high level of virtualisation, with some Azure Cloud. · Previously worked in a Test Lead role, leading and mentoring other team members. · Experience working on data centre projects is highly desirable. · Experience covering planning, reporting, issue & risk management and people management skills. · Excellent stakeholder management skills, including customer facing experience. · Experience creating test plans. · Previous experience with Defect Management processes, including facilitating Defect Triage/Review Boards to ensure that defects are reviewed and prioritised with appropriate stakeholders and implementing the full defect management process. · Experience with JIRA and Confluence. · Knowledge of Zephyr is advantageous. · Flexibility on travel / work locations during the working week. · ISEB / ISTQB or equivalent certification in testing at foundation level or above.
