Service & Maintenance Engineer - Refrigeration & HVAC We have an exciting new opportunity with our client who are a specialist in refrigeration controls, gas leak detection and energy reduction initiatives. The company supply, install, service and maintain a wide range of products to the industry. This includes refrigeration systems, HVAC & lighting controllers, refrigerant leak detectors and temperature / condition monitoring. With a growing portfolio of clients they are looking to add an experienced Service and Maintenance engineer to their well-established team. The role will be a field based position with an area of potential coverage between London and Birmingham. As such, someone based between these locations would be ideally placed for the role. Role responsibilities: To undertake works issued through via the Service department within required time frames to ensure customer expectations are met. Install, commission and test gas leak detection systems, alarm activation systems and associated equipment. Install, commission and test specialised monitoring, controls and energy management systems. Undertake control panel wiring and on site modification. Conduct service and repair of commissioned equipment/systems and ensure appropriate fault finding techniques are used. Undertake pre planned preventative maintenance of gas leak detection equipment. Report back to the company throughout the work and on completion. Complete all necessary paperwork and submit to the office on a daily basis. Complete time sheets and submit on a weekly basis Manage van stock / consumable levels and liaise with office to replenish stock / order specialist parts / tools. Provide training and telephone assistance to customers and their representatives as well as colleagues when required. Ensure the Company is promoted in a professional manner at all times, maintaining an appropriate attitude and appearance in front customers. Maintain a high level of workmanship ensuring all areas where work has been carried out are left clean and tidy. Ensure compliance with company and regulatory health and safety rules and regulations. Package: Basic salary of up to £30,500 based on skillset and experience. Company van and tools needed for role. Full benefits package including company pension scheme and holiday allowance.
