Overview

Mobility Aids - Volunteer Driver Location: Bradbury House, Wheler Road. Seven Stars Estate, Coventry CV3 4LB Shifts available: We are interested in applicants who can commit to volunteering for one day a week on any weekday (daytime Monday to Friday) on a regular basis. Come and join our friendly team based in Coventry and support your local community We provide people in your community with wheelchairs on a short-term basis. Our mobile driver volunteers provide members of the public with wheelchairs from varying pop up locations in your community. Your time will help keep people in your community stay independent by accessing a wheelchair. You will need to be at least 21 years of age - with a full, clean driving licence - and have more than two years of experience as a driver, including experience of driving a large van. Activities include: Issuing and receiving wheelchairs (or other mobility aids equipment) Setting up and operating the mobile 'pop up' service using a Red Cross van.
