Overview
Do you want to join a great team delivering outstanding support to people with learning disabilities living in supported accommodation? We are looking for someone who is both enthusiastic and dedicated to: Promoting fulfilling and meaningful lives for the people they will support Ensuring people are involved in their local communities Working closely in partnership with the people they will support, families and other professionals Coordinating, managing and developing a dedicated staff team Effectively managing the service in order to meet a comprehensive range of quality standards You will manage a dedicated team providing 24/7 support to people living in the community. You will be providing direct support to people on most days – but also have dedicated management time. The role involves regular shifts, weekend work and some sleep-in duties. You will already have experience in working with vulnerable people and preferably hold a relevant qualification in health/ social care. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their managerial skills and enhance their qualifications through Creative Academy. (The service was rated as Outstanding for being ‘Responsive’ (Good overall rating) by Care Quality Commission in its last report in June 2016.)
