Are you a Senior Family Solicitor looking for a change? Want to join an expanding Yorkshire practice and handle a real mix of great quality work? If so, read on Our client is a great regional firm and has an opening for a like-minded Family Solicitor to join the close-knit team in Halifax and support its offices throughout the wider Calderdale region. For anyone local to the area, or for anyone looking to move into it, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly-successful firm that has retained a down-to-earth feel in a really exciting role to help develop the firm's family offering. The successful Family solicitor will be able to handle a real mix of work and will be dealing with a range of clients, including some High Net Worth clients. You will have a really diverse caseload, which could include divorce and ancillary relief, pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements, and will also be working on some domestic abuse files. You will be able to run your caseload autonomously from start to finish, while also having the chance to work on more complex work too. Furthermore, since the team is well-established and well-resourced, you will have all the support you need to succeed in the role. It's a really exciting opportunity as our client has a strong existing base and a well-established team handling private family matters, however they feel there's a market opportunity they can take advantage of and would be keen to speak to people who would like to understand more about the firm, the work and what an opportunity could look like longer term too. Our client is ideally looking for a Family Solicitor with at least 5 year's experience, however more important than PQE is the ability to run a caseload with minimal supervision, so if you fall outside of this bracket but can demonstrate the necessary technical ability, you are still encouraged to apply.
