Senior Accountant £30,000 - £40,000 per annum Permanent Chester Free Parking Excellent benefits A great working environment The Role Our client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. The successful candidate would have some responsibility for helping junior members of the team understand and deliver accounts to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Prepare and work on client accounts who vary from sole traders to corporate businesses. Advise clients on all matters including tax. Provide various services to clients, some new and different and some straightforward. Collection of monthly financial reports from operations and preparation of a monthly summary for presentation Ensure a smooth and timely flow of client correspondence, namely via accurate and professionally constructed letters and telephone calls Meeting with clients face to face to deal with any questions or issues Managing the incorporation of new companies and statutory filing requirements The Candidate: Practice experience is essential for this role Experience in the preparation of annual and management accounts Experience of Personal and Corporation Tax Chartered accountant or working towards CIMA or ACCA is desirable High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work on own or as part of a team Must be able to work to tight deadlines The Company My client is a reputable Accountancy and Tax Consultancy Practice with dedicated professionals, servicing clients across the UK.
