JHE & Partners are delighted to be partnering a local, successful Bradford business who are recruiting a purchase ledger clerk on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with solid ledger experience or for someone that's worked in an accounts administration capacity. Working as part of a wider ledger team, you will be a focused individual and possess excellent interpersonal skills. You will work effectively autonomously in addition to working as part of a bigger team when the need is required. This is a fast-paced role that not only requires accuracy and precision but someone that can think outside the box and isn’t afraid to vocalise their opinion to streamline processes. Duties include: Matching, batching and coding of invoices Supplier statement reconciliations Dealing with multiple queries Compiling information for payment runs ensuring invoices have been approved Preparing BACS payments Processing supplier invoices Running reports on Excel Ad-hoc duties This is a permanent position to start as soon as possible but as always, the client will wait for the right candidate. You must have appropriate knowledge of purchase ledger and have the ability to multi-task due to the busy nature of the role. You must have experience of working in a purchase ledger department. Salary on offer around the £17k-£20k region bonus with holiday, parking and pension allowance. Hours are 37.5 Monday - Friday. You will need to drive to access this location.
