Overview

JHE & Partners are delighted to be working with a local manufacturing business in Bradford who are seeking a purchase ledger clerk to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great position working in a lovely office environment requiring someone with excellent knowledge and exposure to purchase ledger. The client is looking for a team-player; someone that is willing to roll their sleeves and help in other areas of the team such as sales ledger, administration and customer service. Duties include: Working on a purchase ledger processing in the region of 250 - 500 invoices monthly Bank reconciliations Supplier statement reconciliations Dealing with any supplier queries. BACS payment runs Enter monthly timesheet information on to system Liaise with external teams Entering all expenses on petty cash account and matching to cash Assisting with the company banking Allocating cash Posting sales invoices Filing Ad hoc duties This is a small team environment, similar experience working in a small team is desirable, but the emphasis is on working attitude and being a team-player. At times, you may be required to assist in areas outside your remit so you must be open to new challenges along the way. Salary on offer is between £18,000 - £20,000 working a 35-hour week (8.30-4.30) with one hour lunch OR 8.30-4.00 with 30 min lunch. Holiday allowance is 25 days 8 bank holidays with one day accrued per year up to 5 years. Free parking, auto-enrolled pension and private healthcare are also included in the package.
