Job title: Global Investigations Lawyer - London Location: London Salary: £ 85,000-95,000 PQE: 2-4 Are you a junior/mid-level solicitor looking for a fresh start? A Corporate law firm is looking to recruit an additional solicitor to join their growing Investigations London team. What do you need: The ability to support and manage cases across a broad range of commercial litigation issues. The ability to manage complex cases and clients, working largely unsupervised where appropriate, with proven negotiation skills - instructing counsel and delegating to and supervising others where appropriate. The ability to support and manage cases across a broad range of criminal and regulatory issues. Clear understanding of the operation and structure of a Top 20 law firm. You will be 2-4 years PQE What will the role entail? The successful candidate will work closely with Partners in the Global Investigations team, which is a multidisciplinary team that advises on bribery and corruption, money laundering, fraud, economic sanctions, export controls, customs, market abuse, insider trading and other criminal and regulatory matters. They assist clients with their responses to investigations led by (among others) the Serious Fraud Office, Police, National Crime Agency, HMRC, Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority, Payment Systems Regulator and Financial Reporting Council. Their team supports clients on related issues including extradition, governance, directors' duties and fin crime compliance. This role will involve working on a mix of criminal and civil/regulatory investigations into corporates and individuals. The successful candidate will be flexible, have a genuine interest in gaining a broad base of experience of all key practice areas in which the team operates, and a willingness to learn new skills as their practice grows and develops.
