Are you currently looking for work? We are currently recruiting a Warehouse Team Leader for one of the four major supermarket retailers in the UK, working in their busy Warehouse performing day to day operation assisting the Warehouse manager. Reporting to the Warehouse and Stores Supervisor, you will be required to lead a team responsible for the day-to-day Warehousing and Despatch operation ensuring all aspects of the operation runs smoothly and in accordance with food safety, health & safety requirements and ensuring legal compliance. Warehouse Team Leader Responsibilities: To ensure all orders of all types are picked accurately and in a timely manner To provide support to the Warehouse and Stores Supervisor To monitor team behaviour and performance and deal with any issues To set and monitor team targets and objectives Shift Pattern - 08:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Saturday) As a part of this role, you will also be provided with a company phone to stay Oncall. It is very important that you only apply if you are able to go Oncall as well. Oncall will require you to be available 24 hours through your phone regardless of your current location. Oncall Bonus £100 per week. Warehouse Team Leader Pay: Monday to Saturday (08:00 to 18:00) £11.00 per hour Overtime: £12.00 (Sundays 45 Hours) Warehouse Team Leader Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience in picking environment Previous experience in a fast-paced environment Clear, confident verbal communicator Ability to allocate work and motivate team members Treat everyone with honesty, respect and dignity Problem solving abilities and logical thinking Must be able to go Oncall.
