Overview
To oversee and manage the Ceded Reinsurance Accounting process for the Syndicate to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, reporting and financial information. Key Accountabilities Ensure contract set up in Subscribe systems, including post setup testing. Responsible for Proportional and Excess of Loss treaty and Facultative Reinsurance accounts and ensuring that policy conditions and accounting terms are met. Prepare Final XOL Treaty Premium Adjustments, profit commissions and any other adjustable feature calculations. Prepare and invoice XOL and facultative claim billings. Validate that system produced gross premium, commission and losses are ceding properly to treaties. Prepare annual UK Regulatory filings (example QMA 710, 800) Assist with quarterly financial and management reporting. Special projects as needed Execute and review system and financial reconciliations to ensure accuracy of data in systems Function as Subscribe or system functional expert to support the Syndicate processing.
