The Role We are looking for a strong full stack developer to join our expanding team and work on cutting edge web projects. If you are a .net developer who is well organised, methodical, passionate about technology and eager to develop your existing skills and experience within a fast-paced environment, then this role could be for you. You will be working to develop and maintain robust and efficient APIs, back-end analytical processes as well as front end development. The ability to work with large and highly transactional databases of several terabytes in size is a core requirement. You will be responsible for unit testing your code and partaking in peer reviews. You will occasionally need to work in the maintenance of existing applications and services. This is a great opportunity for someone with .net software development experience in C#. You will be working in a team alongside a lead BA, a Development Manager and a Tech Lead. The team operates with an agile development methodology. Ideally, you will have a higher education degree in computer science / software engineering or have suitable knowledge built up through commercial experience. Ideal experience of working in a DevOps culture and/or Agile Good T-SQL skills and experience with SSMS Strong unit testing experience (NUnit or similar) Strong experience working on front JavaScript technologies such as Angular or React IIS, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, WCF JavaScript, TypeScript Desirable: Experience with multi-threaded code HTML, CSS, jQuery and AJAX, REST, JSON Knowledge or experience of document stores Microsoft Azure Technologies (Service Bus, Key Vault, Functions & Cosmos) Powershell scripting Experience working with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps (ADO) Experience of Microservice’s and development of Agile including TDD and knowledge of BDD Knowledge of the front-end tools/toolkits like gulp, npm, jspm, sass. Being comfortable with command-line tools. Testing/mocking frameworks/tools like MSTest, Nunit and Moq Designing Relational Databases Optimising database queries and stored procedures What can you expect from us?
