Role: Devops Azure Lead Location: London Duration: 6 months to start with Type: Contractor Start: Max 2 weeks JD for Azure Dev-ops, Jason, Puppet and scripting resource Build and deploy infrastructure as code against solution designs using Terraform and Azure ARM Utilisation of CI\\CD tooling such as Azure DevOps and creating pipelines for build and releases PowerShell - this will be used on a daily basis and you will need to be efficient in its use to a reasonable level Programming language - at least one other programming language, preferably C# and Python with working knowledge of developing dotnet Core applications Utilising cloud native tools for backup, patching, monitoring and security compliance Azure Cloud Engineering – Need reasonable knowledge and understanding of Azure Resource Manager implementations of both Infrastructure and Platform as a Service offerings. Knowledge and experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Azure Resource Manager template-based deployments in an enterprise environment. Knowledge of the deployment and configuration of Azure Data PaaS services, Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networks, Application Services Knowledge of the deployment and configuration of event and message-based technologies such as Event Grid and Service Bus Integration with ServiceNow based ITIL processess Experience deploying, configuring, and managing Microsoft Azure Active Directory , Including Governance and Policy Management Role Base Access Control Privileged Identity Management Implementing enhanced auditing Azure DevOps – Able to effectively use Azure DevOps for Planning using Azure Boards Source Control using Azure Repositories Build and Release using Azure Pipelines Knowledge of both supporting and building of complex Windows Server or Linux environments would be of benefit. Working knowledge and experience supporting multiple CI/CD pipelines with live deployments. Working knowledge and experience migrating legacy applications into the Cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure. Working knowledge and experience deploying data hosting solutions to the Cloud, preferably Microsoft Azure Maintain and support the cloud services platform Monitor and maintain multiple cloud solutions to meet project requirements Respond to incidents and service health issues in line with service level agreements Proven scripting or programming experience (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) Proven experience of microservices and container-based systems (Docker, Kubernetes); ITIL experience Azure Certified for dev ops and Azure Cloud This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89937787
