MSI, Windows packaging, Application Packaging, Desktop Support, PC support, Windows 10 migration, Powershell, PowerCLI, SCCM, SCCM Admin, SCOM, Active Directory, Systems Administration, Hedge Fund, Fund Manager, Banking, Finance, Trading support. An Application Packaging (MSI) and SCCM specialist (ie someone who uses SCCM for OSD design and administration and have solid knowledge/experience of SCCM for OS deployment, eg Windows 10, and application packaging from the ground up.) is required by this leading Hedge Fund. This role would suit someone looking to champion and lead by example the support of applications across the Desktop domain but be primarily focussed on MSI Set Up, debugging Windows and Microsoft applications and SCCM set up, with scripting/Development using Powershell and or VBScript for automation and improvements. The firm is doing extremely well in an otherwise turbulent financial market and are growing it’s IT group. This is a strong but low ego team where the focus is to provide exemplary support and keep the trading business up and running at all times. You will continuously work on solutions in collaboration with your team mates, sharing ideas on how to make the systems more robust and ultimately requiring less day to day support. Previous experience of working in a banking or financial markets environment is useful as the users are demanding and the environment can be pressured at times but this is all part of working in a leading investment firm where you are well looked after and investment in both training and IT as a whole is high.
