Overview
Healthcare Assistant (nights) Our Client, based in Stockport, requires a Healthcare Assistant (nights) to join their fun and friendly team. You will support their elderly residents to live full and enriched lives whilst residing at the home. The home is well established in the area with a reputation for providing excellent care to their 66 residents. Location: Stockport, SK3 Hours: Full time, 48 hours Salary: £11,356 - £21,765 dependent on age and number of hours worked Role Type: Permanent Requirements for a Healthcare Assistant (nights) You will provide the kind of compassionate care for the residents that you would expect for your own family members. Working with the care team, you will support the residents, allowing them to engage in numerous activities provided by the home and provide the continuity and high standards of care that the home is known for. Key Responsibilities as a Healthcare Assistant (nights) • Work with the residents at the home • Champion residents' safety and dignity. • Deliver kind and compassionate care in line with the Care Plans provided. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure care meets the highest standards expected. • Manage delicate situations with compassion and respect when dealing with family and friends. • Night shifts 8pm – 8am The ideal Healthcare Assistant (nights) • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care or higher • Ability to provide compassionate and kind, person-centred care • 1 years’ paid experience in care minimum • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Right to work in the UK • Elderly or Dementia experience preferred • Attention to detail and accuracy within administrative skills and computer literacy. • Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service • Must be able to provide 5 years of satisfactory references pertinent to the role Additional Details Benefits: Free Parking, On-going training and development, 28 days holiday – pro rata dependent on hours.
