Overview
Healthcare Assistant (Days) Our Client, based in Stockport, requires a Healthcare Assistant (days) to join their well-respected team. You will support their elderly residents to live the fullest lives they can, whilst residing at the home. The home is well established in the area with a reputation for providing excellent care to their 66 residents. Location: Stockport, SK3 Hours: Full time, 48 hours Salary: £11,356 - £21,765.00 dependent on age and number of hours worked Role Type: Permanent Requirements for a Healthcare Assistant (Days) You will work with the care team to support the residents, enabling them to engage in numerous activities provided by the home, whilst providing the continuity and high standards of care that the home is known for. Key Responsibilities as a Healthcare Assistant (Days) • Provide care and support to the residents at the home • Champion residents' safety and dignity. • Deliver kind and compassionate care in line with the Care Plans. • Collaborate with other team members to ensure care meets the highest standards. • Manage delicate situations with compassion and respect when dealing with family and friends. • Day shifts vary - 8 am – 8 pm, 8am – 2pm, 8 am – 6pm and 2pm – 8pm. The ideal Healthcare Assistant (Days) • NVQ2 in Health and Social Care or higher • Attention to detail and accuracy within administrative skills and computer literacy. • Ability to provide compassionate and kind, person-centred care • 1 years’ experience in care minimum • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Right to work in the UK • Elderly experience preferred • Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service • Must be able to provide 5 years of satisfactory references pertinent to the role Additional Details Benefits: Free Parking, On-going training and development, 28 days holiday – pro rata dependent on hours.
