Overview
Are you an experienced Social Housing Surveyor seeking your next contract within Responsive Repairs? My client has an immediate opportunity for a Repairs Surveyor to join their Property Services Team on an initial interim basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring responsive repairs, including re-lets, are carried out to a satisfactory standard, managing the process from end to end. Responsibilities: Carry out pre and post repair, exchange and re-let inspections as directed by the scheduling team Diagnose, assess and specify work required, in consultation with the customer Monitor the delivery and quality of work carries out by Trade Teams and contractors, in order to maximise customer experience and satisfaction. Ensure that where work is delegated or carries out by other parties, such as contractors, that overview is maintained and deadlines met Assist in monitoring and controlling expenditure and costs against budgets Requirements: The ideal candidate will be qualified to HNC level or equivalent qualification in a construction field or be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill gained from relevant experience in surveying or similar construction related environments.
