Job Description
Persimmon Homes Severn Valley are expanding their Customer Service Department. We are seeking experienced, multi skilled Customer Care Maintenance Operatives, who will be required to work in occupied properties on housing developments across the region. The regional office is based in Portishead. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of remedial works for our customers across our region, covering the counties of Somerset, Bristol & South Gloucestershire, with the majority of work in Weston Super Mare, Bridgwater, Bristol & Cheltenham. You will be field based, working on active construction sites and completed developments. A company van and mobile phone will be provided. There is a requirement to work Saturdays, on a rota basis and the flexibility to work occasional evenings if the need arises. Qualifications/Experience You should be experienced in dealing with customers and be confident and courteous when working in customers homes. Skills You will need to be punctual, efficient, well organised, self motivated and capable of managing a diverse workload in line with pre-booked appointment times. A full driving licence and CSCS card is essential. First Aid at Work & PASMA certificate is an advantage, but training can be provided. We require a multi-skilled operative, with excellent standards of workmanship in all aspects of dry-lining (taping, jointing, patching/board replacement), carpentry, decorating, mastic work & wall tiling (replacing isolated tiles within a tiled wall). Minor brickwork/pointing and minor groundworks (paving slabs) also an advantage. Benefits Competitive Salary, Pension, Life Assurance & Bonus.
