Overview

A well reputed, well established and forward-thinking design, development and Manufacturing Company in the Bedfordshire area is actively seeking to add a Technical Support Engineer to the team. The Technical Support Engineer will provide support to a Global network of customers and be confident in understanding the nature and severity of the issue at hand. The Technical Support Engineer Role: - Provision of technical support to clients via the phone, email and in person. - Work within a team of Engineering professionals to generate installation and maintenance documentation. - Completion of Engine installation, commissioning, service and operation. - Fault diagnostics and troubleshooting on Engines and support equipment including; fuel treatment plant, boilers, air compressors, MV & LV switchgear. - Assist in the investigation of in field reliability issues. The Successful Technical Support Engineer: - You will be a competent Engineer with some form of recognised Engineering qualification - The Technical Support Engineer should be an excellent communicator, flexible to travel nationally and internationally. - The Technical Support Engineer will be aware of Health & Safety regulations, method statements, risk assessments and must hold a full UK driving licence. - You will be knowledgeable within Diesel Engines design, construction, installation and commissioning and ideally familiar with associated equipment such as: - Control systems - Turbochargers - Governors (Mechanical & Electronic) - HV& LV Switchgear This role is live, and interviews are available at short notice.
