Overview

Currently recruiting an Accountant for a growing global company whose turnover has doubled in the last year. This is a part time, temporary (6 months) role based South of Cambridge. The role reports directly to the Finance Director in providing financial and commercial support to the UK management team and operational business units. Responsibilities will include the following: Preparation of monthly management accounts and subsequent reporting, review, monitoring and control in liaison with the FD Investigation and reporting of variances as appropriate each month Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and reporting Act as a mentor to the Finance Analyst Supervise and sign off payroll, managing year end payroll reporting Support budgeting and forecasting processes You will ideally be a part or fully qualified Accountant CIMA/ACA/ACCA. Have advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups and possibly macros and proficient in Powerpoint, Outlook and Word Our client offers an informal but hard working office culture where people have fun but work with high integrity.
