Growing accountancy practice seek engaging accounts assistant - Up to £22,000 (DOE) - Progression available Your new firm A growing accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Manchester city centre are looking for an engaging Accounts Assistant to come and join their friendly team of accountants. The firm offer a wide range of accounting services, use cloud accounting software and have over 600 clients within their overall portfolio. Your new role In this Manchester based accounts job you will be responsible for providing clients with a wide range of accounting services including statutory year-end accounts, bookkeeping duties, VAT returns and tax returns. You will liaise with clients, build relationships with clients, use Xero software daily and use initiative in your day to day role. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed in this accounts assistant job the management are seeking an engaging individual who has experience working for an accountancy practice. The firm are looking for someone who has experience using Xero, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, who can use their own initiative to streamline processes and who can take ownership and responsibility with their work.
