Overview

A Software Installation Engineer with experience installing and supporting IT Systems and software is required by our client based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The Software Installation Engineer will visit onsite with clients to evaluate requirements, configure software and some hardware as well as implement systems and carry out subsequent support and training with users. Applicants must have Software install skills as well as strong client facing skills and a willingness to travel. Hardware installation skills and network connectivity knolwedge is useful. You must have a full driver’s license. Required Skills: - Experience installing and supporting software applications - Field Service Support and Installation skills - Experience having trained small groups of people (preferred) - Full UK Driving licence Who would suit this role? This is an excellent role for an experienced Software Installation Engineer potentially from a software consultancy or installations background seeking to develop their career (training is provided). The successful candidate will be based from offices near Hemel but expected to travel 4 out of 5 days.
