Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an extremely well-established, international distribution and retail organisation based near Pontyclun, as a Group Finance Manager, an integral part of their Group Accounting function. This role will involve assisting with key projects including mergers and acquisitions and tax planning. The role will also involve assisting the Group Finance team with key reporting dates. Client Details My client is a market leading and well-recognised retail and distribution organisation, near Pontyclun, with a global reach. They are looking to up-skill their Group Finance Function and secure an excellent Group Finance Manager. Description Key Responsibilities of the Group Finance Manager Include: Assisting CFO with Mergers, Acquisitions and disposals across the group Compiling monthly reports for UK Directors and Parent Company Group wide lead accountant for ad-hoc projects Analysis of subsidiary monthly reporting and ongoing performance Assisting the HOF with annual budget process, year end reporting and tax computations Liaising closely with FC's in subsidiary businesses, maintaining positive relationships Reviewing subsidiary budget and forecasts, consolidating group budgets and presenting to the parent company Profile The ideal candidate would be ACA Qualified with a background in a Top Accounting Practice. They will have strong attention to detail, be confident, personable and approachable. Must have a full driving licence.
