Role: Procurement Buyer Employment: Permanent, Full time Location: Exeter Remuneration: Highly competitive salary Benefits BPS World are recruiting for a Procurement Buyer to join our client at their Exeter office, they are a worldwide specialist in security, access control, and door entry systems. Their solutions are designed for a wide spectrum of applications, ranging from small enterprises that require complete plug-and-play systems, to extremely demanding, complex environments requiring seamless and effective 3rd-party integrations. Responsibilities you will hold as Procurement Buyer: Build on current supplier relationships, identify new supply opportunities and create new relationships Commercial understanding of the supply chain and the Procurement cycle. Identify and develop opportunities for strategic supplier partnerships, supporting long-term cost reduction initiatives. Monitoring Supplier performance, resolving and escalating queries where necessary Undertake and maintain Market Analysis and Benchmarking to validate current costs and identify cost saving opportunities. Work closely with the procurement manager to assist with cost savings initiatives. To ensure compliance with Company Procurement Policies Background and skills required: High Level SAP experience or knowledge (or similar ERP system) Strong and demonstratable background in Procurement/Buyer role.
