Have you got a solution-based, can do attitude? Do you have experience of planning manufacturing facilities? Are you someone who builds strong supply chain relationships? A manufacturing company in Leicester are looking for a Supply Chain Planner. Working in the planning and transport department , you will be the cornerstone that allows the operation to run effectively and efficiently. Your main responsibility as Supply Chain Planner will be to plan production effectively to maximise sales and service while minimising cost. You will also be purchasing all raw materials across sites to ensure accurate stock levels as well as forecasting future demand requirements. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial as you will be in regular contact with various areas of the business and its stakeholders. You will be decisive, organised and resilient in your approach. If you are someone who likes to make a real impact, this is a great opportunity for you. You’ll be part of a lovely and professional team, working with experienced people who will help develop your skills. You will be working Sunday through to Thursday (8am to 4pm), meaning no rush hour traffic to worry about.
