Supply Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisor - Leicester Hays Education are currently seeking Cover Supervisors who are looking to work in Leicester doing day to day or long-term cover for several local schools. Whether you're looking for supply work, long term positions or a permanent role, Hays Education are market leaders for working in partnerships with schools across the East Midlands. Your new role Working as a Cover Supervisor through Hays, you will benefit from working in a variety of schools without the pressures of planning or marking You will earn a day rate from £70.00 to £80.00 dependant on experience. Cover Supervisors normally work under the guidance of subject leaders, implementing agreed work programs for either whole classes, groups or individual students both inside and outside the classroom. As a Cover Supervisor, some of your duties will include: Supporting, advising, guiding and supervising students throughout the school day. Supporting classes in the absence of the timetabled staff/teacher Delivering the cover work established in the absence of the teacher To have a primary focus on maintaining good order and ensuring students are on task so that learning can take place. Assist with the smooth and efficient running of the school Supervising learning and assisting with form time activities. Break time and lunchtime duties Lesson time pick up trawls and invigilation of internal and external examinations. What you'll need to succeed You must have relevant experience within the last 2 years and we must be able to obtain relevant references for this time. You should have a professional manner and a flexible attitude to working and timetable changes. Most importantly, you should be enthusiastic, engaging and passionate about working with 11-16 year olds. Strong behaviour management and the ability to implement schools' behaviour polices is also desirable. What you'll get in return Competitive rates of pay.
