EXPORT SALES ASSISTANT - YORK SALARY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE Our York based client are pioneers in the manufacture of engineered protective textiles and they have developed a global customer base through a strategy of investment in their people, products and processes. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Export Sales Assistant to join their busy team. Their products are sold worldwide and so candidates who speak more than one language would be particularly of interest as exports account for up to 25% of their business. THE ROLE Reporting to the Export Manager, responsibilities will include market research, customer contact and export administration. The ideal candidate will be computer literate with good communication skills, ideally with some previous experience in exports. Foreign language skills would be beneficial. The successful candidate will assist the Export Manager with market research, daily customer contacts and following up quotations. The post offers an ideal and exciting career development opportunity in an international environment where there could be the opportunity to progress to an Export Manager's position. The salary would be commensurate with experience (after a qualifying period) and benefits include a company bonus scheme, private health insurance and employer pension contributions.
