Overview

Riverside are currently recruiting for a Relief Worker based in Leeds working on a flexible basis, covering staff holidays, sickness etc. with the possibility of night and weekend shifts. Engage Leeds is a city-wide service that is split in to 3 geographical areas. The wedge Riverside operates in covers all of South Leeds. The Engage Leeds service is commissioned by Leeds City Council and its key aim is to support anyone in Leeds over the age of 18 who is struggling with their housing and have support needs. We work with people from all tenures including council housing, housing associations, private landlords and people who own their own homes by providing a visiting support service. As a Relief worker, you will be the first point of contact for customers, working on reception, general cleaning and housekeeping duties, health and safety checks and reporting in order to maintain the safety of the customers and the vibrancy of the service.The successful candidate will preferably have experience of working in a homeless or support setting and have excellent communication skills as well as the ability to show initiative and remain resilient, reliable and motivated at all times.
