Overview
A Central London Council are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team Your new company This council has gone through some changes recently as they push and drive towards their goals of becoming the best performing M&E team. The M&E manager is very interested in those engineers that have a productive mentality towards work and that strive to complete tasks with their full technical capability. Your new role In this role you will focus on both residential and commercial Electrical Engineering. Your day to day would cover some minor design tasks along with producing specifications. Alternatively, another area of focus will be project management and contract management of the electrical services, you will handle these projects from inception to completion ensuring all deadlines are met along with ensuring the contractors meet the KPI targets set. Apart of this task will be to oversee the contractors to ensure they are completing work in line with all building regulations and specifications. What you'll need to succeed You will need a proven track record of electrical engineering and project/contract management covering similar work, this can be from either client side or a contractor. A qualification of a HNC or HND in the relative field is required. What you'll get in return In return you will receive an hourly rate of £22- £26 (umbrella) depending on experience on a three-month rolling contract. Development is very much on the cards as the manager is more than willing to progress a high performing engineer.
