Overview
Interim Senior Accountant Are you available at short notice for a 9 month contract with a forward-thinking, unique, fast-paced business? Do you have solid experience in management and financial accounting? Confident interpersonal skills? A stickler for deadlines? If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you Offering a salary of up to £46,000 for the role of Interim Senior Accountant, this employer's interests are diverse and varied The Challenge Working as part of a small team, you will produce monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis against budget. In addition; Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Produce cash flow analysis including anticipation of future funding requirements. Prepare VAT returns. Maintain the fixed asset register. Ensure the integrity of the financial numbers including reconciliation of control account for all balance sheet accounts. Previous experience of management accounting, budgeting and forecasting. Commitment to meeting demanding reporting deadlines. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills. A competent level of IT skills is required, including solid experience of MS Excel. Self-starter with excellent communication skills. Ability to work autonomously when required, whilst still possessing strong teamwork skills. Strong sense of discretion, appreciating the confidentiality of the work.
