Senior Mobile QA Engineer Permanent | £70,000 - £90,000 | Central London Selenium, Appium, Espresso, Cucumber, Jenkins, CICD, iOS, Android, BDD THE ROLE My client is looking for an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer specialising in iOS and Android applications to join their expanding mobile automation QA team. You will be responsible for developing & executing automated tests for mobile applications and working closely with the development team to ensure the applications are of high quality. You should be open to learning new things, get in-depth into tools, in a fast-paced agile environment. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Prepare and implement automation test cases for mobile applications. Find maintainable solutions to complex problems for Android and iOS and interacting with third-party/system applications. Set up and optimise automation projects with Continuous Integration Minimise the manual efforts in application testing and delivery Seek ongoing self-improvement through knowledge of advancements in test tools and techniques, with a view to improving the overall QA infrastructure and processes Prioritise own workload effectively in a pressurised and fast paced environment REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Extensive experience with test automation tools such as Appium, Calabash, Selenium, UIAutomator2, Espresso, XCTool Experience with programming languages like Ruby (e.g. Java, Python, Kotlin) Good understanding of mobile platforms ecosystem Good working knowledge of Unix command line Knowledge of BDD, Cucumber/RSpec, Git, Jenkins/TeamCity desirable About You: Self-motivated and able to achieve deadlines and work independently Strong interpersonal skills and team-working capability Passionate about technology and testing A problem solver who thinks laterally both as part of a team or individually Selenium, Appium, Espresso, Cucumber, Jenkins, CICD, iOS, Android, BDD
