Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: • You will have the opportunity to work for this Manchester based ladies wear e-tailer. we are one of the fastest growing companies in the UK selling online ladies fashion. • We are looking for a candidate to work with our current team to develop departmental product ranges that delivers the core values. • Manage a buying team to meet current and future sales, margin and stock targets within budget. The successful candidate will need to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities: As a Buyer you will have a positive 'can do' attitude that is capable of working to tight deadlines. We are looking for someone who is customer focused, logical thinker and a confident communicator that will transfer to team development. • Plan and execute departmental KPI’s and ensure adequate tracking and controls are in place to meet budgets and targets. Constantly strives to improve best practise and processes. • Uses leadership skills to support with the motivation and people management of the team. • Reports and effectively communicates all key information to Buyers and Directors. • Monitors and maintains stock as per KPI’s set and manages OTB accordingly. • Liaises with the marketing and ecommerce teams to develop and maintain sales so they are maximised through the site and in line with the overall strategy. • Review the market place, work with design, QA and supplier base to develop new products that meet anticipated demand of customer base and produce and innovative and profitable product range. • Carrying out online comparative shopping to develop and maintain knowledge of the current competitive market place. • Manages and ensures departmental critical path achieved Skills, Experience and Qualifications: • Previous fashion buying experience is essential • Relevant fashion buying degree is preferable • At least 3 years’ experience in Fashion Buying • Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic individual with clear communication skills • Wide range of product knowledge • Minimum two years sourcing experience which must include the Far East • Effective negotiation skills What We Will Give You: • A competitive salary • Pension (that we contribute to as well) • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) • Staff discount • Summer hours scheme • Salary Sacrifice schemes such as cycle to work • Death in service benefits • Brand new, state of the art, fun working environment.
