Power BI Data Analyst - Brighton - £38-45k This role is ideal for a candidate who has an interest in databases, dashboard reporting and business intelligence. If this sounds like you then keep reading The role: This role is one where your responsibilities will be varied and challenging. Your primary focus will be to create reports and dashboards in Power BI in order to provide the business with actionable insights which they will use to make decisions business-wide. In order to achieve this aim you should have a good understanding of working with data from a SQL Data Warehouse and the ability to create visually appealing dashboards and reports in Power BI. It is important that you are also able to utilise DAX. As the team has recently introduced Power BI, you will work alongside current contractors with the view to become the Power BI SME within the organisation in the near future. As such you will be involved in a variety of projects to ensure the objectives are delivered effectively. This role has a big commercial focus and you should expect to be required to gather the appropriate knowledge to deliver the most effective solutions for customers. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the strategic business intelligence commercial journey of this company and work alongside a highly qualified team of technical and commercial specialists with a wide variety of experience. You: You should have proven experience using SQL Server, Power BI, DAX, data quality and report development. Project management experience and knowledge of Agile and Lean methodologies would be desirable.
