Overview

We have recently partnered with a well-funded start-up who have built a platform focused on delivering reliable and trustworthy used cars to a wider audience. In a traditionally untrustworthy industry, our client is wanting to bring a more streamlined service so that all buyers can be assured of the quality they will be receiving. In the short time that they have been operating, they already have 3500 dealerships and 180,000 cars on the site. All of the dealerships are checked, and the cars must be respect a strict criteria to be added. The team, which currently consists of 10 engineers, are split into separate “squads”. The squads are built to be able to focus on separate aspects of the platform. This means you will be working in smaller, more agile pods to help tackle the work load spread across the engineering team. Each Squad is build-up of Front End, Back End, QA and Devops engineers, giving them a broad range of skills and disciplines. Now, we are looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to join their engineering team. You will be tasked with building highly scalable and maintainable code using React and Redux on their greenfield platform. You will work closely with product, design and sales, share technical solutions, pair programming and code reviews. What you need: Strong experience with React Cloud experience (AWS/Azure etc…) a big plus Work closely with design teams A Passion for technology Experience in a Start-up or fast pasted environment would be nice They are a flexible team and offer some great benefits like a performance-based bonus, health insurance and the chance to learn.
