Overview

Technical Lead, C#. .net, MS Stack, Hands-on Development Manager, DevOps, c £ 85000 - 90000 car bonus. Eastleigh, Southampton. To be considered you must have a deep and hands-on technical (C#) understanding of driving a development team on a global platform. The role would suit a candidate that has played a lead technical role in a SaaS platform development position. Product based technology company based in Eastleigh are looking for a Technical Lead / Software Development Manager to join their team with strong knowledge of SaaS and platform development globally. Responsible for a team of software developers (mainly .net) you will be focused on building robust and innovative software solutions for external clients. You will develop a strategy for the team to deliver software and improve the processes and quality of service. As a software evangelist you will have the ability to identify areas of improvement and will drive change where required. Although this is not a hands-on role in terms of daily coding, you must have started life as a developer and will still enjoy code reviews, mentoring and improving staff, keeping up to date with new and relevant technologies and more. You will currently be, or have recently been a Technical Lead / Architect using your C# knowledge. Responsibilities include - Act as the technical lead/ architect Manage and mentor a development team. Review and improve processes where necessary. Ensure the business is aware of the most up to date and relevant technologies. To be considered you will have - Previously worked a Technical Lead, Architect or hands-on Development Manager. A good knowledge of the MS stack, having previously been a MS/ .net Developer Good knowledge of DevOps and Azure. Strong Digital experience. Experience of working in a product company and delivering software to external clients. The ability to drive change and challenge developers. Knowledge of POS and the retail sector would be a distinct advantage. This is a fantastic opportunity to come in and make a real difference.
