Technical Lead - (Technical Operations) We work with a globally recognised business that specialise in video platforms supplying them to a number of leading with broadcasters. At present they are looking for a Technical Lead to join the Technical Operations team based near Southampton. Cycle to Work Scheme and Gymflex Annual leave Main Duties The Technical Operations team focus largely on developing, delivering and driving continuous improvement for operational monitoring systems. As a Technical Lead you would be involved in; Technical leadership for a team of engineers that focus on development, deployment and operations Lead and contribute to multiple end-to-end workstreams with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity Advise management on advanced and broad ranging technical projects and topics Interface technically with a range of stakeholders with customer and business impact Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services Drive collaboration Leading others to solve complex problems Ensure that the delivered solutions actually meets the customer(s) requirements and quality Mentor or advisor for more junior members in the direct or wider team improving talent through experience and knowledge Essential Skills The successful Technical Lead would need experience in; Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders concisely Able to see projects through to completion Keen on driving quality / standards Customer facing Can communicate on difficult or complex concepts Good negotiation skills What Next… If you are interested in discussing this further, please hit apply or send your CV to GCS Computer Recruitment Services is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
