You will also generate insight/MI which supports decision-making and action across Vitality and ensure best practice and development of skill sets across the team. Responsibilities as our MI Analyst: - Report requirement capturing, creation/development, enhancement and distribution - Support the migration of manual reporting into Spotfire to improve efficiency and automation - Take an active role in representing Sales and MI throughout both BI and Analytics Clusters and wider key stakeholders - Use detailed economic and mathematical models to predict the outcomes of changes in the business model to sales - Updating and distributing existing reports including business area and product specific reports - Empower and encourage development and production of new sales performance reports - Collating, investigating, publishing and communicating results to distribution management - Timely delivery of data submissions to third-party data providers - Project Manage key MI developments across the team including CRM delivery - Ensure Data Quality standards are adhered to throughout and work closely at all times with central BI community - Ensure there are no key dependences on reporting or skill sets across the TeamEmpower production of regular scheduled reports and dashboards. To become our MI Analyst, you will have the below skills and experience: Essential - Educated to degree level in relevant subject (computing / programming / mathematics / statistics). - Advanced experience of data analysis and report building in Excel - Data manipulation, Formula creation, Charts and graphs, Pivot tables - Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and querying using T-SQL - Advanced skills in report building using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) - Understanding of relational database architecture and querying - High level of attention to detail ensuring all data is correct whilst conducting analysis. - Strong communication and relationship management skills Desirable - Familiar with Spotfire, Google Analytics and Salesforce - Understanding of the UK Private Medical Insurance market Closing Date: Friday 3rd April 2020 Working for Vitality as our MI Analyst , you'll experience an exciting mix of creativity and innovation, within a framework of challenging objectives and a passion for delivering the best.
