Overview

Experienced LGV Class 1 drivers required by a family owned haulage company near to Grimsby & Immingham. Candidates must have a current and in date driver CPC and tachograph card. With no more than 6 penalty points on their licence. The right candidate must be prepared to do some nights out and have experience of both tippers and curtain sided vehicles. The role would suit drivers with an agricultural background, who have a personable character and are able to work on their own initiative. Responsibilities include ensuring daily checks are completed correctly and defects reported. Complying with all drivers hours and traffic regulations. Able to secure/strap down loads as required. Must be physically able to sweep/wash out tipper trailers when required ie change of product and operate curtains during loading and unloading operations.
