My client in Cardiff are a prestigious government organisation. They're seeking a Lead Statistican / Data Scientist on a three month contractual basis. The individual will lead ten people across four teams. These teams are: Official Statistics Corporate Insight (MI) BI Intelligence Operational Research Experience and skills required: The Lead Statistician should have strong analytical and data interpretation skills Advanced statistical expertise in a variety of area and topics Statistical programming and modelling with experience across a wide variety of topics Project management skills, organisational and matrix management skills with the ability to proactively prioritise projects Budgeting and resourcing skills Leadership and mentoring skills This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89950694
