Front of House Assistants (Part-Time 12 - 17 hours) Clyde, Faslane Naval Marine Salary £20,993 (pro rata) About the role We have a number of opportunities working within our Hospitality and Retail Services Team based at HM Naval Base Clyde. Working in our Dining Areas, you will be required to provide a high level of customer service to our Serving Military Personnel across 3 very different and unique areas. We provide a Canteen, Café and Restaurant style of service, providing 300 to 400 meals per day to our customers, seven 7 days a week; 365 days a year. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a welcoming environment to our customers; serving food and beverages, cash handling, operating and replenishing hot/cold serveries, and maintaining a clean & tidy environment throughout. What do I need to do the role? Having worked within a similar environment you will have knowledge of Safety, Fire, Environment & Health Legislation (including Food Hygiene), you will be experienced in cash handling and have operated electronic point of sale systems and cash registers. Knowledge of military ranks would be advantageous but not essential. What else do I need to know? This role is based at HM Naval Base Clyde, located 6 miles north of Helensburgh in the West of Scotland. We are well placed for commuter links to Glasgow and the wider region, with easy access for car and public transport.
