Overview

A fast paced business in Harpenden are looking for a purchase ledger supervisor to join a team of 5 existing clerks and support them with any day to day issues that arise. The company are looking for someone that has some experience of managing existing teams in purchase ledger. The role will support some that is either looking to complete the AAT qualification or someone that is looking to add further value to their existing experience. The company have a supportive manager and experienced team in this role and will help to create a friendly and positive environment. Within the business the managers take pride in ensuring that the work hours are rigidly worked to, with the doors being pushed shut at 5pm. Job Spec: Processing of PO's as per internal policy Manage accounts payable team Produce monthly accruals Running and analysis of reports Calculate commissions payments Review discrepancies on purchase ledger Dealing with queries - supplier and sites Update pricing lists Allocation of daily cash Bank reconciliation Process expenses and staff mileage Credit card reconciliations Assist with year-end audit Person spec: Experience of managing a purchase ledger function Good excel and IT skills Proven man management experience Ideally AAT qualified or part AAT qualified
