Overview
My client, a Global sporting brand is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their growing business. You will sit within the finance function where you will be producing statutory accounts alongside supporting ongoing financial projects. As a Financial Accountant you will have a duties of business partnering with internal departments, exposure to management Accountant, Forecasting and Budgeting. Other duties will consist of: Develop more efficient finance processes Ensure finance processes are SOX compliant Main audit point of contact coordinating audit responses, drafting stats and ensuring that entities remain under small company thresholds Ensuring that accounts are US GAAP and UK FRS compliant and ensuring all external company filings are completed on time Main point of contact for tax advisors, coordinating responses, drafting comps and ensuring that the business is taking advantage of opportunities to reduce tax burden Submitting monthly payroll files to third party payroll provider ensuring payroll is accurate and up to date Candidates will be able to demonstrate strong organistaional skills, the ability to adapt to a changing environment and a strong ability to deliver to deadlines. Candidates will be ACA or ACCA Qualified with previous experience in Financial Accounting.
