Performance Test Tool Specialist Permanent Up to £47,000 Glasgow Badenoch Clark is partnering with a high-profile, national service to deliver a niche technical appointment during a period of transformational change. We are looking for a technical specialist who has an appetite for change and who is driven to be part of one of the largest transformation projects in Scotland. Fundamental to this next phase of the organisations transformation, will be their people and organisational capabilities, which will be enhanced by the technology and systems integrated into the organisation. You will work collaboratively with other members of the Test Team, using your understanding of IT test methodologies and use of performance test toolsets, to ensure effective and transformative Performance Test services. Knowledge of test methodologies, test planning, preparation, execution and reporting is essential, as is experience and knowledge of the following: HP Quality Centre HP UFT or other automated test script toolsets EggPlant automated software performance testing Performance monitoring tools: perfmon, vmstat, VSphere Test Methodologies (V-Model, Iterative, Waterfall) Test Case Design Techniques (Equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, requirements based testing, scenario testing, Exploratory testing, static testing, dynam testing, Ad-hoc testing etc.) Degree in related computer science or software engineering discipline This is an incredible opportunity for an IT professional with sound technical expertise to define the processes and procedures within complex and exciting projects.
