The role 11:FS is hiring a JavaScript Engineer to join us on Foundry, our ledger-first flexible core banking platform. We are big fans of React, so ideally you'll know React well and be open to learning React Native. If you're full stack with experience in Scala, Java, Docker, Terraform or Kubernetes we'd also love to talk to you and help you take your skills to the next level We're a fintech working with financial services clients - but definitely don't expect a traditional banking culture. Requirements Excellent experience with JavaScript/TypeScript React Web and/or React Native experience Confidence working with APIs RESTful applications and microservices BDD/TDD CI/CD NoSQL/SQL is nice to have GraphQL is very nice to have An appreciation for applying cyber security best practice Agile/iterative software development experience Someone who understands the team is bigger than the individual Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, high-energy environment Self-starter who knows how to commit and deliver Ability to be flexible and pragmatic with technology decisions Understanding product-focussed software development i.e. principals such as minimum viable product Excellent communication skills Independence and self-motivation while still being able to work with others collaboratively Desire to always improve and learn new things Foundry 11:FS Foundry is built from the industry-wide recognition that core banking is ready for massive disruption.
