JavaScript Developer - Full-Stack - REACT - SaaS Software A unique opportunity for a Full Stack JavaScript Developer to join a growing and ambitious software house start-up in Maidenhead (75 people strong, 1500+ customers). The Full Stack JavaScript Developer (React) is needed to help to build a new SaaS application that will be hosted in a serverless AWS environment. Traditionally our client has installed their monitoring software locally in their client's tech environment. This is your chance to work on their true-SaaS offering which is in its early testing phase. You will be working on the flagship product, with a focus on serverless cloud-based architecture, RESTful APIs, and microservices. The Full Stack JavaScript Developer will form part of a new team (4 strong presently) therefore will need to be someone who can bring new ideas to the table as well as deliver awesome (clean and reusable) code! Person Specification * REACT - essential you have experience with this framework * JavaScript - very accomplished developer * Have worked with RESTful APIs and Microservices * Experience writing JavaScript server applications with Node.js * Some experience developing a SaaS product * Experience with Serverless services, preferably in AWS (e.g. Lambda) * Knowledge or experience of AWS and/or Azure (including access APIs) Responsibilities * Participating in the full lifecycle of the product development * Collaborating with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features * Taking part in technology and architecture discussions, advocate for engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, operational efficiency etc.) * Work with the UX team to optimise product usability making it more intuitive * Support continuous testing efforts through test automation Benefits: * 10% bonus (paid out 8% last couple years) * Share options scheme after probation - vesting shares over 3 year period - hoping of IPO * Upto 10% pension contrib * 25 days hols * Vitality health * Discounted train travel * Parking is paid * Flexi hours start early / late * Nice offices table tennis, snacks, unlimited coke, beer fridge Our client has a truly fantastic office!
