Overview

Our Client a £150m contractor require a Snr Electrical Design Engineer reporting to the Design Director based in their Central London offices responsible for the Design of protection and control systems for electrical substations up to 330kV. You will ideally be a degree qualified design professional with over 7 years experience of working on HV, MV & LV designs within the power and infrastructure environment, with necessary certifications. Your responsibilities will include developing of detail construction design including exposed busbars, cables routes, units wring and interface diagrams, cables and multicore cables schedules ect., for HV substations, transmission & distribution system analysis and protection studies of electrical power systems in industries, listing technical specification and procurement of equipment and materials for HV substations, including compiling and evaluating the CDM and Health and Safety documentations, Method Statements and Risk Analysis for substations construction projects, in addition to Client liaison and some site visits to oversee design implementation by specialist sub-contractors The Client offers an excellent long term career opportunity and immediate starts.
