Maintenance Software Developer
Overview
Currently looking for a self-motivated individual to join a team of talented maintenance Software Developers. You will be supporting customers with a variety of software related problems and working closely with existing engineers in a variety of fields, such as developers and artists. In order to excel within this role, you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and dedication to delivering a high standard of customer service. The opportunity to be part of the largest provider of drilling simulators, within a fast-growing team, with a huge global Client base for the oil and gas industry. You will have the chance to grow and develop your skillset so you must want to learn new technologies. You will report to the Global Technical Support Manager in providing Recreation, Diagnostics and detailed development of technical software issues. Working with engineers from all different industries, you will carry out remote & field upgrades, installations, testing and QA with customers. Strong Technical Skills relating to: C# or C++ Programming Visual Studio, .NET Framework Object Oriented (OO) Programming, design principles and patterns. SQL and relational database design/development principles. Good Interpersonal, communication and dedicated to delivery of customer service excellence. Experience with or knowledge of: Unity. Windows Forms, WPF The full software product development lifecycle.
