Overview
TeamJobs are currently recruiting for a Skilled Maintenance Person to join our client on a permanent basis in Bournemouth The role will involve primarily carrying out planned and reactive maintenance works for residential properties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety within their role and taking on a challenge. Duties include: - Internal and external maintenance - Basic plumbing and piping maintenance - Fixing and repairing internal fixtures, fittings, furniture etc - Some grounds keeping - painting and carrying out minor decoration - Reporting to building manager to advise if outsourced contractors required - Responsible for carrying out regular safety checks - To keep a log of reported defects and remedial actions undertaken and escalate requests for external contractors to attend to repairs - Locking and unlocking of buildings, - Stock and supplies inventory, The ideal candidate candidate will have managerial or supervisory experience as overlooking a small team or organised teams may be required. You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you will be required to drive company vehicles. This is a permanent role with a salary of £18-23 depending on level of maintenance experience.
