£24,000 p/a | Full-Time Days | Small Care Home – Good CQC | Great Benefits & LD | Experience Essential One of Wiltshire’s leading elderly care homes currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Care Team Leader or equivalent to work as Head of Care. The home is charitably run, fully CQC compliant and offers a mix of general elderly and dementia care to older people from the local area, with great facilities throughout and a busy social diary for residents to enjoy. Details of this Head of Care position are as follows: A great annual salary of £24,000 A permanent contract working full-time days on a flexible rota Free uniforms, DBS check and on-site parking A company pension scheme and a sick pay programme A comprehensive induction and ongoing learning and development opportunities both in-house and externally A range of retail and lifestyle discounts As Head of Care, you will take the lead on all aspects of clinical services in the home, managing, monitoring and evaluating resident care and delivering effective leadership and direction to the team of care staff. You will work closely with the Registered Manager and will run the home in their absence. What we are looking for in a Head of Care: Current experience working in a senior or supervisory capacity in a UK care home setting Have completed studies to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in leadership and management in a care setting Confident writing, managing and auditing care plans Passionate about high quality care and have good working knowledge of CQC essential standards For further details, or to apply now, please follow the link provided.
