Overview
Theatre Manager - private hospital Linq Healthcare are working with a leading private hospital group to recruit a Theatre Manager for a flagship hospital in London. This is a big and busy private hospital with over 100 beds and 5 theatres. In this role your responsibilities as a Theatre Manager include: Planning the delivery of the theatre service Responsibility for the day to day organisation and management of the care within the operating department Coordinating the theatre team, both clinical and non-clinical Responsibility for development, motivation and performance of the theatre team ensuring the achievement of CQC standards Accepting planned and emergency surgical medical admissions Working toward agreed objectives and demonstrating appropriate behaviours based on the values of the business Working 1 clinical shift per week to keep on top of your skills and leading by example with evidence based practice Assisting in the management of the department budgets Participating in the interview, selection, recruitment and induction for all new staff Ensuring that audits are undertaken on a regular band systematic basis to ensure critical/adverse incidents and complaints are investigated and action plans developed Demonstrating daily visible leadership and management of the department Understanding and undertaking cost benefit analysis To be considered for this position you will: Be a registered nurse who has theatre experience Have managed a busy theatre suite with at least 2 theatres Have worked in a private hospital (desirable but not essential) Be experienced in people and clinical management within a large and busy hospital To be considered for this position or for more information call Jo Reid on 07402817248 or send your CV by following the link below or my email
